The Living Islam – Islamic Tradition site supports the universal perspective of Islam, because knowledge itself is essentially universal.

Regarding the state of the world (today 2021) it is incumbent on every lover of God, on every worshiper of Allah and servant of the Real, not to keep quiet about situations of corruption, repression, exploitation of the downtrodden, warmongering, terrorism (be it state-sponsored or militant ~ ), racism (Zionism is a form of ~ ), supremacism, bigotry[1], enmity – wherever those nefarious tendencies raise their ugly head – it is their/ our duty to stop all this, and to inform others about these pernicious circumstances, in order to combat them.

This combat and this struggle has to be forceful and energetic, but without using violence, except in self-defence. Most powerful is the prayer, or the call of distress to Allah by the one who is suffering from injustice[2]. This call is always answered by Allah, sooner or later.

However these circumstances may be, they are like ripples on the ocean of God’s all-encompassing Mercy, and we testify that all might, power and movement only belongs to Allah. Human beings have been endowed with free will, to be tested in this worldly life.

{For each [religious following] is a direction toward which it faces. So race to [all that is] good. Wherever you may be, Allah will bring you forth [for judgement] all together. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.} 2-148
